This is negative to a positive play. Cheyenne tries to play a pass to Blumer. It doesn't work. You must hustle to win the ball back ASAP. It then leads into a Counter Attack for MP. They shoot and Julz then clears our lines for a CK which we need to be ok w/ under these circumstances. Unfortunately, they score off the CK w/ an upper 90 shot.

Goal Against

We have 2 successful throw-ins in a row. 1. is played into space and Addie has room to move w/ it after a ball from Iron. 2. This is how we want to have it set up. We have a show and a go. Then a flick to Ellie. We also have Addie pinched in as the new #9.

Look at our positioning for this FK. We do not move before the ball is played into the box. We need movement before and during the FK entry. Example: Cheyenne and Ellie switch spots before the ball is played then rush the GK. Addie doesn't have a player marking her.

Another CK for MP - we need to step like we did on this CK and try and force them into a mistake so we can try and Counter Attack.

We have a chance to break into their half - we're outnumbered but we need to continue to carry the ball, have Cheyenne stop and receive a pass and build from that, or play into space for Cheyenne. It's 2 on 5. Build up to find space or get a foul. We can't have a straight run w/ a straight pass.

Hero CK - we have Lily on their GK. Hero CKs require each player to be inside the 6 yd box and 1 player needs to be at the top of the 18 yd line to put the ball back in. The CK didn't make it into the 6 yd box. We lacked movement. Julz does a great job to track down the ball and give us another opportunity but then play the ball back to an HR player. Trout then gets the ball, again we can go backwards to an HR player and rebuild.

Great shot by Iron and then move/cross by Lily

This was a nice build up but unfortunately we don't play fast enough and then give up the ball for a Counter Attack by MP. We need to play to space in behind and put pressure on them. If it goes out of bounds near the flag that's great for us.

great ball in behind and a good shot - once that ball goes in behind we need our other attackers to crash the net.

1 minute remaining - we have another chance to draw level at HT w/ a FK. Lily has nice movement towards the goal. From this range and in we want to attempt to put a shot on frame. Strong team defense at the top of the 18 to stop their attack in the final 1/3 and then clearance by Steele.

I feel that the 2nd MP goal was defended well - #9 just made a great cut back and hit the ball w/ power/accuracy

we have solid defensive shape for a minute - we just need to be able to find a player to link up w/ or play to space on the wing out of danger

Before the defensive play by Allie we had a couple chances pushing forward but we held onto the ball too long. Play the ball wide to our wingers and then take the space. The ball Allie plays wide is something we need to do more of.

In this situation we're down 0-2 w/ 10 mins to play and Amaya starts to take the space that's given to her. well done

Good covering for one another late in the game. This could've turned into goal #3 but you worked for each other.

Julz in this situation take the space up the wing to draw out another defender and/or go get in the box w/ the other attackers b/c we're under 7 mins. to play and need a quick goal
